Nearly 100 tons of hot-melt road marking paint, ordered by Chilean customers and packaged in fusible bags, were successfully packed and shipped from the production base of TATU Highway Group in the Nantong Tongzhou Bay River-Sea Intermodal Development Demonstration Zone. The goods will travel across the ocean, clear customs at Shanghai Yangshan Port, and arrive at their destination—San Antonio, Chile—30 days later.

Hot melt road marking paint in fusible bags

Staff at the International Marketing Center of TATU Highway Group explained that the Chilean customer has extensive industry experience and, in addition to strict requirements on product quality, also specified requirements for packaging: the use of fusible packaging bags, commonly used in Europe and America. Because hot-melt paint requires heating in specialized melting equipment (hot-melt kettle), using fusible packaging bags allows for direct placement of goods into the heating system. This significantly improves the convenience of material handling, reduces dust pollution in the construction area, and minimizes solid waste such as used packaging bags. Furthermore, the EVA material of the packaging bags, once melted, mixes with the paint, effectively enhancing the coating's crack resistance. Since 2018, Tiantu Road Industry Group has exported multiple batches of this type of hot-melt pavement marking paint, which has been well-received by customers both domestically and internationally.
