In his speech, Li Xiaopeng stated that "Four Good Rural Roads" is a major project for improving people's livelihoods, winning public support, and promoting the practice personally summarized and implemented by General Secretary Xi Jinping. In his speech, Wang Kai said that in recent years, Henan has always kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest instruction to "build a logistics channel hub connecting domestic and international markets and radiating across the east, central, and western regions," and has insisted on treating transportation as a fundamental, leading, and strategic project for economic and social development. It has basically achieved expressway access to every county, high-speed rail access to every city, inland waterways connecting to the Yangtze River and the sea, and the "four Silk Roads" connecting to the world, providing a solid foundation for serving the overall national situation, facilitating the dual circulation of the economy, and promoting high-quality development in Henan. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Henan Province will focus on building a strong transportation province, promoting the development of its "rice-shaped" high-speed rail network towards a multi-center network, expanding the capacity of the Zhengzhou International Air Cargo Hub, densifying its expressway network, accelerating the upgrading and improvement of rural roads, and transforming its transportation location advantages into hub economic advantages.
Wang Kai stated that rural roads are the fundamental support for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and driving coordinated urban-rural development.
