The Nantong base of TATU Highway Group welcomed a delegation of seven people, including Executive Dean Xu, Vice Dean Song, and Vice Dean Guo of the Henan Provincial Institute of Advanced Technology (jointly run by Zhengzhou University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences), along with experts in machinery and chemical engineering. Accompanied by the group's leaders, the experts conducted a comprehensive visit and research at the company. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on strengthening industry-university-research cooperation and technological innovation through on-site observation and discussions.
TATU Highway Group Nantong base comprises two factories: Nantong Transportation Technology Co., Ltd. (Factory 1) and Nantong WELL-ROAD Special Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Factory 2). Factory 1 is a new road material supply base primarily engaged in the research and development and production of a full range of road marking paints; Factory 2 is a domestic R&D and manufacturing plant for various types of road equipment.
The experts visited Factory 2, touring the newly operational production workshops and observing the five major series of road equipment products produced there. At Factory 1, they visited the highly intelligent production and inspection processes in various paint production workshops, as well as the paint and materials R&D center, production management center, and other related facilities. Through this firsthand experience of TianTu Road Industry Group's R&D and production facilities, the experts highly praised the group's forward-looking industrial development strategy, high-standard talent support mechanism, globalized operational development approach, and modern hardware facilities.
At the subsequent symposium, group leaders warmly welcomed the experts and provided a detailed introduction to the domestic and international development status of the industry in which the group operates, as well as the development opportunities and plans currently facing the group. The two sides discussed their expectations and aspirations regarding expanding cooperation with the Henan Advanced Technology Research Institute, a modern educational and research institution dedicated to promoting Henan's development and serving the nation through industry.
Through this site visit, both parties reached a broad consensus on how to strengthen new models of industry-education integration and new ideas for win-win development. Both sides agreed to accelerate the implementation of these consensuses, striving to leverage the Henan Advanced Technology Research Institute as a domestic R&D platform to support Tiantu Road Industry Group, a Henan-nurtured domestic road equipment manufacturing enterprise, in realizing its dream of becoming a global leader in the road special equipment manufacturing and service industry.
